Spelling error in Report
A client has pointed out a spelling typo in a report summary. In the column "Registraion fees etc" a letter "t" is missing from registration. Is this something I can correct?
It would also be nice to customise these Report Summary headings. Is this possible
Thank you.

Hi John,
Presumably that is a custom field somewhere?
Perhaps in the customer record?
If so, if you go to Customer Centre > double click to edit customer > Additional Info > Define Fields.
Then you can correct the spelling.
Kind regards,

Thank You Sally
The error id not in anything I have entered, but is embedded in the software for Reports.
Where do I find "Customer Centre"?
Regards,
John0 -
Hi John
Go to Customers, customer centre (or press Ctrl J)
select any customer and click edit customer
Select the Additional Information Tab and see if this is in the Custom fields list
If you still have problems give me a call on Skype brendon.gardiner

Hi John,
You will find it is definitely a custom field somewhere that is the field for this report.
As Brendon mentioned it is in the Customers drop down menu or it may be on the Navigation bar underneath the drop down menus at the top of the screen.
Kind regards,

I have found the answer. I needed to edit the Category List (Ctrl+shift+C).
My version (Reckon Accounts 2013) does not have a Customer Centre. Crtl J brings up scheduled bills & deposits.0 -
Hi John,
Are you using Reckon Accounts Business range or the Personal / Home and Business Products as Categories (within the program) are generally associated with the latter, not with the Reckon Accounts Business range.
This would also be why you cannot see the customer centre.
Further to this, the report title reflects the same name as the category (as you rightly advised), so the title will be wrong if the category has been misspelt.
What I would be interested in knowing is whether this was a category that you (or a client) created at some point, or was it created by default when the program was first installed?
Kind regards,

Reckon, what is up with the confusing product names?
Is it a wonder that John Watt and the other helpful people on the community are giving/getting mixed advice.
Reckon Accounts
Reckon Accounts Accounting
Reckon Accounts Plus
Reckon Accounts Personal
Reckon Accounts Personal Plus
Reckon Accounts Home & Business
A Reckon Accounts product range for 'Personal' and 'Home & Business'.
A Reckon Accounts product range for "Business".

To make it easier to identify which program we are all talking about, with the program open the product 'flavour' will be displayed in the title bar:
Home & Business 2013
Premier 2013
Hope that helps everyone in the future whether posting or replying.Regards,
Jason0
