Using Hosted, I have a new employee with his TFN correctly entered.  It has been verified as a valid TFN.  When selecting employees for the STP report , the program tells me there is missing information for this employee.  I have entered an employee no, TFN and his personal details - name address birth date start date, phone no.  And it still doesn't function

Hi Penelope.  Did you put spaces in the employee's phone number?  That's what caught me out. I removed the spaces and the problem solved.

All my employees are set up with spaces in their phone numbers & this hasn't caused any lodgement issues.  However they are all mobile numbers & in the same format: xxxx xxx xxx so maybe that format's required for mobiles if using spaces.

From memory, I believe brackets create a problem (eg  for landline numbers).

Thanks for all the help  I formatted the mobile no as per Shaz and entered the TFN in the Payroll/Compensation tab.  I only had it in additional info under employment .  It was reentering the TFN in the correct tab that solved the problem
