STP App - JSON object has incorrect values

I’ve just set up RECKON STP App to report salary/tax/super payments to ATO - just reporting as I am 1-4 employees and do the payments myself. The software was successfully registered with ATO.

I have tried several times to submit information on just one pay run and each time it is declined by the ATO with the following error message: 

- Your JSON object has some incorrect values -
I have no idea what to do here, or what a JSON is?? Any suggestions?

Hi there Erin,
Great to hear you're starting to use the new STP app! 

You've mentioned you've tried to submit several times, were these all in relatively short succession to each other?
Can I grab your ABN and I'll ask our STP team if there's any further info we can see as to why you're being presented that message.

The first submission in the Reckon STP app was a pay run, then after it was declined I submitted three adjustments in short succession. These were also declined. I just tried again three days later and still declined.

Pay run has been declined by the ATO, please review the message below and make an adjustment if required. 

- Your JSON object has some incorrect values - 


I have no idea what to do here, or what a JSON is?? Any suggestions?

Make sure that you're on the latest version of the app ie. check for updates from your respective app store. More importantly, make sure there are no special characters in employee names, addresses, phone numbers etc
The same thing applies to the details in the 'Company' section in the app.

Thanks for your prompt reply. 

I have checked the app version and company/employee info that all good now. But with pay runs had been declined by ATO, I need to do review & adjust. So what I should do if no need to do any adjustment.

Hi Rav, 

I have just summitted "0" on adjustment and received approved by ATO with success. Does that mean my STP pay runs completed correctly?
