STP - ATO rejected with Error with software ID

I downloaded the free reckon Single Touch Payroll app and submitted a pay run.  the ATO has rejected the pay run 3 times now. with the error to "check and update your hosted SBR software ID through Access manager or by phoning the ATO."  The account was set up by the accountant. The software ID that appears on my app. is the same as the one I was given by the accountant.  Software ID. 3448986293. What can I do to sort out and submit the pay run so it is accepted?

Hi Karen,
Did your accountant also register the Software ID with the ATO on your behalf? If so, its best to get in contact with the ATO to triple check they have the correct Software ID for your ABN registered on their end for your entity.

Hi Rav,  thanks for your reply.   Could you confirm with me what the Software ID number is for the Reckon free app please,  If it is wrong then I can tell the accountant the correct number and he can change it with the ATO?  This would be the quickest solution that I can think of.  thanks.  Karen

Unfortunately, I can't tell you what your individual Software ID is as its unique for user. What I can tell you is, if you head into the Software ID section in the app which is in the Settings Area, you'll find it in there and this MUST be given to the ATO before any of your subsequent submissions will be accepted.
