STP error message

I am getting the following error message in STP fomr the ATO

 "ATO Messages   The following error messages have been returned from the ATO and need to be reviewed. You may need to make changed in your accounting product before submitting again.   Error message Your nomination with the software provider may not contain the correct Software ID in Access Manager.To resolve, please log on to Access Manager (AUSkey required), select ?my nominated software provider? and update the nomination, or call the ATO.You will need provide the following details:? Software provider name and/or their ABN? Software ID"

I have checked in Access Manager and the Software ID is the same I dont know what else to do.

You'll need to follow the steps listed in the below article in order to register the Software ID for GovConnect STP.

Where is my Software ID for GovConnect Single Touch Payroll (STP)?

Once this is completed, your NEXT pay event submission will go through successfully (provided there are no other errors) and update your YTD figures.

HI Rav

I have done that.

None of the data that I have uploaded since July 2018 ha successfully been submitted to the ATO.  All but 2 are still pending and those 2 state the error message I advise in my previous query.  I dont know what to do..

That's correct none of the submissions will be processed or submitted because the Software ID from the GovConnect STP service hasn't been registered with the ATO.

 Your NEXT submission that you send AFTER registering your Software ID with the ATO will be processed and provided there are no other errors in the upload file, it should show 'Success' after clicking the Detail link on that individual pay event.

I am getting the same annoying message from the ATO.  I have been sending my STP for the past 5 months.  Registered my software with the ATO and most of them were still pending up until about 1 week ago.  I have not changed anything, now 2 of them have failed to load and are saying "ATO sent the poll response but the service failed to deserialize it".  What the hell does that mean?  I wish the ATO would send Messages so that the rest of the world could understand what we are meant to do?  Any ideas Rav???

That message means there was an issue with the ATO's SBR2 service which handles STP submissions at the time of your lodgement and as a result these pay events have not been processed.

Single Touch Payroll is reported on a YTD basis so if you've already sent a successful submission AFTER the erroneous one then your balances have already been updated.
