stp final event dates are incorrect

When uploading a final pay event file for STP on a terminated employee the period start date is later than the period end date. However if it is uploaded as a new event the date range is correct, can someone please help with this?

Hi Joanne,
If you need to process a final pay event, then it will be a 'new' event. Are you getting an error when you try to do this via a new event?

Hi Rav,

Thank you for your response, yes I have processed this as a "new" event; as this employee has been terminated when I open  Single Touch Payroll Reports in Payroll Premier I select "End of Financial Year" to convert to "Final Event"


When I upload the first file into Reckon GovConnect, within the "details" link the dates are 12/07/2018 - 18/07/2018, if I upload the bottom file with the "final event" marked as "Yes" the dates are: 12/07/2018 - 30/06/2018
