STP Full file replacement or Update?? Confused

Hi All!

Still confused by this Full File Replacement/Updated Event 'tick the box' or not 'tick the box' bit!!??

Okay..........normal weekly/new pay run, I don't tick any boxes??? This is called "Pay Event"? And I select the "New Pay Run / Full File Replacement" option when picking my report type?

Update Event is only used if I've stuffed up YTD figure or how $$ should be allocated?

Full File Replacement is NOT for updated YTD figures & like, but to replaced the previous "Pay Event" if there was a problem, like corrupt file or the previous Pay Event was submitted incorrectly?

I've read the guide so many times I keep getting myself confused??

Hi Leisha,
Yep you've pretty much nailed it.

If you need to create a normal new pay event for submission, don't tick any of the options and the file will create as a normal pay event file.
