STP Reckon Hosted - Register Software ID

Do you need to call up ATO to register your Software ID?  I thought this is automatically done through Reckon GovConnect?

    You can call them but if you have an auskey on your computer you can login and do it yourself, in the access manager section. It does not do it automatically through GovConnect
