Hi there

I've finalized our 2019/2020 payroll and submitted the Update Event yesterday. However it's still showing pending status under STP page in Reckon Portal. Can anyone please let me know how long it takes usually? I need to update the system tomorrow and prepare our next payroll. Waiting for your response!
Thanks
Linda

if you view the details and then close it, the status should change.

Normally that is the case but not yesterday or today, I believe it’s the overload on the ATO that’s causing it but wondering what will happen next

I sent my file yesterday and it was showing pending I opened it just now and was pending I viewed it and  then it showed success.  Possibly is an overload with the ATO, go back and check later.

So is my file. Also check the detail within each employees pay info in the final stp upload, as mine is now missing the allowances part.. and now been marked as tax ready in Mygov, with incorrect amounts.. still waiting on a response from reckon.

My STP uploads from yesterday were still pending too. Normally by next day they have cleared! ATO server crashed this morning!

    Hi all,
There are a couple of reasons why your recent submissions are still in Pending status at the moment.
The first is due to the volume of submissions that are going through to the ATO at the moment, not just from us (Reckon) but software providers in general. Due to this, the ATO systems are taking a pounding at the moment and it will take longer than usual to process submissions at the moment.

The second aspect this is, there have been a number of ATO services intermittently down since yesterday and over the course of today. This is further causing a backlog of submissions to be queued until they can be processed, which then ties again my earlier point in regard to longer processing times.

Hopefully things stabilise soon and you all see those submissions change from Pending to Success.

Mine is now successful, but all the JK allowances are now missing from the employees data file that was uploaded, making their 'tax ready' status incorrect. In confirmed this looking at my own Income Statement.

    Hi Catherine

Are you referring to the JK Fortnight number allowance (eg “JOBKEEPER-START-FNXX”)?

If so, this is simply an ATO “label” used purely to notify the ATO of the employee’s start date for JK eligibility – It has no $ 0 value so may not show on an employee’s Income Statement (& doesn’t get reported in their tax return)

On the other hand, if you’re referring to the JK “Topup” Allowance (“JOBKEEPER TOPUP”) …..

If the employee has actually received any topup payment amounts, these should be being displayed …!?

Hey, yep i'm referring to the Top UP Allowance, and they have been displaying correctly in every upload since it started, up until i uploaded the EOY finalisation event, and now they've are missing. In GovConnect the amounts are showing as if they are included in the final upload, but when you drill into each employees details, they aren't there, and i confirmed it within my own Income Statement in MyGov. Something is definitely wrong..

Mine too and yet the file has been received in the tax portal, and Personal Mygov Account shows tax ready against the income statement, and amount is correct
