STP - Uploaded a new event without ticking Final pay event for the year

I have couple of questions.

1. Uploaded a STP file as normal to Gov connect but didn't tick the final pay event in Reckon desktop. how do i replace this file in gov connect? do i go as a Full file replacement. 

2. One of the companies currently has only two employees. I did the first lodgement which is a final pay event as well, but there was 2 employees who resigned who resigned early this year Do i lodge one of the as well selecting the final pay date.

Hi Nushrath


Reckon are releasing their annual Tax Table Update across ALL products this week - You should receive the link via email if your subscription is current.

This update includes an “STP Finalisation” feature which will pick up ALL employees you have paid throughout the year (including those terminated pre your STP commencement)


You can then submit your “Final Event” STP lodgement (which you have until the end of July to submit during which time you can continue your new FY submissions also).


There’s no need to replace the lodgement you’ve just done.  The “Final Event” marker is what determines it as “Final” for the year  :)
