Even though with a Tech's assistance I have lodged two files when I try to do one on my own the same error message is coming up.  instance.PayrollEventDetail required property"Totalgross". instance.PayrollEvent.Payroll requires property "TotalPAYG" I got this msg from the beginning. Any having the same problem or have a cure? Using Reckon Accounts Premier Desktop

    Hi Susan,
This usually means that you'e selected 'Update Event' as your export method in Reckon Accounts Premier however 'Update Event' has not been chosen as the upload option in GovConnect STP ie. you might have selected 'New' rather than 'Update Event'

You need to select the correct upload option, upload it again and it should go through without a problem.

So what option are you choosing when exporting out of Reckon Accounts Premier?

I chose update event as it was a new pay. Then new payroll in stp. I just tried what u suggested. I hot further but on the statud its is showing draft. Then 0 as total gross 0 payg 2 employee. Yet in detail i can see the actual gross payg etc

    Hi Susan

In Accounts you should not select update for a new payrun, you don't need to select any checkbox.

Then click lodge and export the file. Open the GovConnect app, click upload and select new. Your file will then upload with all the new data you wish to send to the ATO

    Cheers

I have already submitted 2 successful files. I have just submitted this 3rd file. I uploaded it. Still no gross figure or payg total showing on the screen summary. Its now pending. So i suppose we wait and see what happens with the ato.
