The online bank details keep disappearing

The online bank details from my bank account keep disappearing.  Can I have more than one account with the same details, as I'm using separate clearing accounts for payroll and creditors? At the moment, the details stay on the creditors clearing account but not on the payroll clearing account.

I also have a third clearing account with different online bank details.

Hi Shelley,

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Strictly speaking you can only have one bank ledger account to one real bank account.  However, you can 'fool' Accounts Business into thinking the one bank account number is a different number.

Just add a - (dash) in the middle of the Branch Code number (which is the BSB number).
so in the first bank ledger account you can have Branch Code as say, 012123;
the next bank ledger account as 012-123;
and the next as 012*123, 012#123.

In the ABA export file any 'character' will be changed to a - (dash).

If you are using BankData, then the ledger account that receives the transactions, the Branch Code must be set in the format 012123 (no characters).
