Hi All,

I've submitted 3 weeks worth of payroll data and I saw the previous comment its because ATO taking their time to process the STP data. However it's been quite a while now and still haven't completed yet, is this normal?

Should I keep waiting or something need to be fixed?

Thank you,
Maurice

    Hi there Maurice,
However it's been quite a while now and still haven't completed yet, is this normal?
When did you submit these pay events? Did you do them all in one go or has it been 3 weeks?

    Hi Maurice,
When was the last time you checked the status of these pay events? Was it today? ie. If you check it today, does it still state the same message on the pay events you've submitted?

Hi Rav, I can see on the first pay event, it says An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact the Tax Office.

However, on my second pay event (submitted on 13th July 2018) it show the same message as title.

Thanks for that, that adds a lot more context as to what is going on.

The "An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact the Tax Office." message means that your Software ID has not been registered with the ATO which means that these submissions have not been accepted.

What you need to do is get the Software ID from the Company & Advisers section of GovConnect STP and register it with the ATO either through the ATO Access Manager or by calling them.

How do I change the phone number in the company information as the ATO are advising an error with the phone number in the Portal.
