Transfer funds with online banking

I want to transfer funds between two accounts both at the National Australia Bank. Both are registered for online access (they have the lightning bolt alongside them in the chart of accounts). When I select BANKING > TRANSFER FUNDS and check the ONLINE FUNDS TRANSFER it changes the date to NEXT BUSINESS DAY and says I need to go to the ONLINE BANKING CENTER and select GO ONLINE to have the funds transferred. When I do this, the GO ONLINE option brings up a web page with confusing information and it's not obvious what I need to do. The next business day, the funds have not been transferred.

I've contacted Reckon help desk and they have not understood my problem or been able to help me resolve this.

What do I need to do to transfer funds between one bank account and another (same bank - different accounts)?

    Hi Jay,

Thanks for asking the Reckon community.

You can make a transfer of funds from within Reckon Accounts Hosted if you have arranged an online banking facility with your Bank and they have given you a unique APCA number.

You cannot affect a transfer of funds from the Transfer Funds window.  You will need to do the following:
    1. Go to Banking > Write Cheque
    2. For the Bank, select the bank the funds are coming from
    3. In Expenses, select the bank the funds are going to
    4. Select the Bank Online option
Your ‘transfer’ will now appear in the Online Banking Centre for inclusion in the ABA file that you upload to the bank.

    Hope this helps.

    regards,
    John

    That doesn't make sense John.

TRANSFER: When I select BANKING > TRANSFER FUNDS there is an option to check ONLINE FUNDS TRANSFER.

WRITE CHEQUE: When I select this function there is no online banking option to check.

The TRANSFER function gives this message:

However, in ONLINE banking, there is nothing in the TO BANK section.

On another point, when I called Reckon support today, they asked me to provide me with my password so they could log-in and see the problem for themselves. I declined and invited them to screen share instead (which they couldn't do). Is that normal policy to ask for an someone's password to assess the problem?
