    Hi Kim,

    Thank you for your query.

Can you please provide me with more information about your specific problem?

Is  there an error when you are posting date( end of day) to Account Business? If so, is it possible to get a screenshot of it?

    Or

Are you looking for a step by step guide on transferring transactions from post to RA? OR are you transferring  the Terminal to another PC?

Please let me know your exact issue with the product so that I can assist you further .

    Thanks,

     Babi

    Hi Kim,

If you are referring to the ability to POST transaction sales to Reckon Accounts on another computer, you need the following set up:

    Shop PC:
    POS Terminal
    PDB File

    Office PC:
    Reckon Accounts
    POS Administrator
Mapped drive to POS PDB file on Shop PC

The PDB file must always be located with the terminal to ensure continuity if the network were to fail during POS transactions.

The EOD files will be stored with the PDB, and accessed through the mapped drive on the Office PC, by the POS Administrator.

The Reckon Accounts datafile can be located on the Office PC, or on a server, and mapped to the Office PC as well.

If you are trying to configure all of this, I would recommend having an Accredited Partner assist with the installation as POS needs to be set up correctly, and in the right order, to work.
