transmitting invoices other than in pdf format

We have a customer that would like to receive invoices electronically but in a different file than pdf. Ideally they have asked for a .iei file. This particular format is not known to us and I have been advised by Reckon that invoices can only be in pdf. This seems a little bit unusual since you can get reports in csv format. We would be interested to hear if what we are asking is possible and how to do it in any other format than pdf

    Hi Ian,

    Just checked in with the Support team around this, PDF is the only format available for invoices at this stage.

    Thanks for your reply. You say at this stage that is all that is available. Do you have any idea how long this stage will last since it is important to us to be able to work with our clients to get where we want to go

    Seriously , have you looked at the program your client wants to use? it is an image viewer for photos! Why would reckon support a non (financial) industry standard software?
