Unable to email invoices

I have just upgraded to Recon Accounts 2013 and to windows 8 (from QB 2012/13, windows 7). When i try to email invoices I get an error - Could not print to printer. Check your printer selection. Then rekon closed down. When i check the printer - file, printer setup, online, Quickbooks V303 PDF converter LPT 1: is highlighted. From here click - options and it says printer not active error code 20. From here click OK and link to Amyuni technologies, licenced to Intuit - where I need a licence code and activation code. ?? long winded explanation but hope someone can help.
