Hello, I
am trying to run a payment summary for FY17 (2016-2017) but I keep getting an unexpected error message when adding the summary. Am I doing something wrong or is this a system bug?

Sorry to see you're experiencing issues with your payment summaries.
Is this an ongoing issue for you? Are you able log out, close your browser down and then try again?
Also, does it occur when you try on an alternative browser?

HI Rav,
I have tried re starting the browser and I have also tried using no summary description. I normally use Mozilla but I also tried using internet explorer. This seems to be ongoing, I have never used the payment summary function in reckon before.
Still tonight I am getting the same error.
Let me know if you have any ideas

Hi Gabbee,
We have found this error will occur if you create a Payment Summary Annual Report (the Empdupe file) before you have actually generated the employees' payment summary.
Payment Summaries are generated at Payroll > INB Payment Summaries where you'll need to:

Payment Summaries are generated at Payroll > INB Payment Summaries where you'll need to:
- Click the Add button from the top right-hand side of the Page.
- Complete the INB payment summary dialog box
- Click Add INB Payment summary
- Click on the Payment Summary entry you created to see the Employees in it and to print or email those Payment Summaries to Employees
- Repeat the process if you require any ETP Payment summaries
