Updating inventory cost and sell prices

I have to update a large number of inventory item costs and sell prices.
Is it possible to download the item list to a spreadsheet, update the cost and sell prices and then upload the spreadsheet into Reckon Hosted.
Will the $ value of inventory be adjusted?

I don't think you can do it directly from Reckon Hosted for the moment. You might need a third party add-on/app to help you with this.

Arthur, for your information, I'm waiting for new update from Reckon Hosted API before releasing a free utility that provides the functions you are looking for.

Also, I have Reckon on a desktop (version Reckon Enterprises Retail 2016).

Is it possible to download the Cloud version to my Desktop, then export the Item List from the Download. Then update the spreadsheet and upload to revised file and then upload the Reckon to the Cloud?

Yes, you can do that if you have a way to import your new/update item list to your desktop version. Make sure to keep a download copy somewhere (just in case)
