Updating to payroll 2018/2019 from 2015/2016

I am assisting a business to update their 2015/2016 Premier payroll to 2018/2019. They are advantage plus members however, I doubt that it's current! Would it be easier to just purchase the 2018/2019 version and convert the old data or do we need to update every year?

    Hi Julie,
    If you're upgrading from the 2015/16 version then it will need to go through a stepped upgrade process ie. you will need to go through an intermediate version of Payroll Premier to upgrade your data file.

    In your case, as you are upgrading from Payroll Premier 2015/16 you will need to first upgrade to the Payroll Premier 2016/17 trial then 2017/2018 trial before installing and upgrading to Payroll Premier 2018/19.
