upgrade 2020

I have 4 company files on Hosted and the same 4 files on desktop Enterprise. Please don't judge me for duplicating my workload.

I've done the upgrade to 2020 (with tax tables) to Hosted and desktop. It's worked fine for 2 files on each location.

For the other 2 files something has gone crazy (2 files on 2 locations gives 4 outcomes) and it's only in the Create Sales Receipt function. On the desktop a file that should record 158 receipts has gone back to #1, on Hosted the same file opens at sales receipt #58 but click to go back it goes back 8 years when it should only be a week.

The other file opens at #305 but again click for the previous receipt goes back to #106, some 7 years ago.

Bizarre.

 Any thoughts, anyone?

I should've added that this bizarre behaviour only happens on files doing payroll. That's the only difference I can see from those files working as they should post-upgrade.
