Upgrade from Quicken v8

I initially installed Quicken v7 in 1995 and then got an upgrade to v8 and I have been using it ever since. I use it to simply track my bank and credit card accounts and also to track income and expenses for investment property. I imagine my usage would be considered basic but it is enough for me to track information for my tax needs. I am currently using v8 on Windows 7 and there are a few minor hiccoughs so I realise at some stage I will need to upgrade. I would also love to be able to see my accounts on line on a mobile device.

I am sort of aware that I cannot transfer my Quicken backup files into a current version directly, is that correct? Can someone kindly explain to me whether I can upgrade my aging software and what version would seem suitable for my simple needs? If an upgrade is possible, can someone please tell me how to do so, or point me in the right direction if this topic has already been covered (I did search but my issue didn't quite seem the same as in other posts).

Many thanks in advance for any help.

I have attached a screenshot of the software version

Hi Peter

You are able to upgrade your data to Personal Plus 2019.  It is a little tricky as it's not a direct upgrade from your 19 year old program to the current one.  I can email you the upgrade guide if you let me know your email address but you will need to upgrade through at least 2 other versions.  They will be supplied by Reckon for you to do that.

If you need any further help please email me on robyn@robynkelly.com.au
