I upgraded to Reckon Accounts Home & Business 2013 last Friday. Today (Wednesday) I got a message saying I should upgrade from Windows 8 to 8.1 (yes I have been off-line on this computer since before the xmas holidays). This I did (successfully). Now when I try to run Accounts, I get an error message which says I am apparently trying to run the software on a different computer. Well no, it is the same computer. How do I get this issue sorted?

    Hello Oatley Guy,

Sorry to hear of your difficulty.

When you open Home & Business and it says its not the computer you originally installed on, click Yes, and on the next screen click OK.  You should then be able to access your Home & Business software.

If you have any problem with re-activating you can always call Customer Service on 1-800 RECKON to re-activate over the phone.

For more information on dealing with this issue see:  http://kb.reckon.com.au/kb/issue_view.asp?ID=3791.

    regards,
    John
