We use Reckon Hosted for our 3 businesses. Needless to say, there are plenty of expense receipts (fuel, parking, meals,, etc..) for each one of them. Instead of entering every single receipt into Reckon Hosted, I would like to:

- Use a Mobile based App through which I can take a pic/scan the receipt that automatically identifies the date, supplier, amount for each receipt.
- export that data to a CSV file.
- Import that information directly into Reckon Hosted.
- Make minor adjustments to ensure information is accurate in Reckon hosted.

Questions:
Are you aware of any such mobile apps that can (or you are using) to record receipts?
Is there a way to import that information into Reckon Hosted.

Many thanks.

Sid

Brilliant to achieve But to do all that in RAH is complicated and expensive mobile app to do .
Also there may not be enough market . We have though a great ultra modern Invoice app for RAH We are looking for more testers for this Invapp which is Android based and works on desktop browser

Hi Kevin, I find that the Expensify app works quite well in separating expenses / receits for each business. It also captures the Amount (total only) and an expense category (Fuel/Entertainment etc.. that I can specify or create my own). I can also export the data into a CSV file. My problem is, how do I import these into RAH and match it to the correct category? Is there some sort of a spreadsheet format/matchng that needs to be done?

    Hi Sid,

Have a look at Concur (AU) and Entryless (US) as both offer csv exports and will be joining our eco-system in the near future.

Sid we do for desktop as I told you on the phone but you need to download may be every week and upload and as for RAH if there is enough market we can consider RAH integration

    Hi Sid,

Chandra can do this below, or look at a tool like zed systems importer. If you want something that works 100% for your business and is designed for your export format than Chandra's team does that very well. Zed is more generic and you map your own format.
