I am running an USD credit card account within my personal Aud range. When I post an amount to that account Reckon correctly records it as an USD item. If i get a report on that account, it shows the transactions as converted to AUD. Is there a report that shows both thje USd and the Aud amounts so I know the exchange rate used.

Hello Chaswallawn,

Thanks for asking.

Several reports, like FastReport on an Account, allow you to add Foreign Amount, Actual Rate, Currency and Gain/Loss columns.  Just go to Modify Report and tick the items you want in the Columns box.

Hope this helps.

John

Thanks John.
Despite looking in every corner, I cannot see how to access a Fast Report. Can you give me some help please?

Hi Chaswallawn,

Go to Lists > Chart of Accounts, right click your account and select FastReport at the bottom of the list.

Thanks again John.
I am running Reckon Personal Plus and I am blowed if I can find a choice  of "Go to Lists > Chart of Accounts".Is you reply for another of Reckon products or am I just totally confused and unable to find my way around? Some further clarification would be appreciated.

Peter

Hello Chaswallawn,

I'm very sorry, you did not specify your product, I did not ask and by the tone of the problem assumed it was a Reckon Accounts Business product and not a Reckon Accounts Personal product.

The reports revalue the foreign currency transaction in a foreign currency bank account at the exchange rate in the Currency List at the time of the report.  As you update the exchange rates the AUD value of the foreign currency transaction will vary.

Hope this helps.

John
