I have checked the ABN of the fund and it is correct. I tried phoning Reckon help, but they could not sort out the problem. Can anyone? else help

Hi Terence.  Your best idea is to get the employee to get the USI from the Super Fund.  Some Funds have multiple USIs for the same ABN.  If it is a problem to get the staff member to obtain the info, you might be able to pick the USI from the following:

    http://softwaredevelopers.ato.gov.au/sites/default/files/resource-attachments/SPIN_to_FVS_mapping_pd...

The safest way though is for either you or the employee to contact the Super Fund so that there is no doubt as to what it is.

    Hi Terence,

    Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Make sure the ABN number is entered with numerals only - no dashes or space, before, after and in between - in the Employee record.

Ensure you have the correct fund - a super company may be running a number of funds each with its own ABN number.

The NAB guide on SuperPay available here, provides the following:
    Error:
Unable to uniquely identifyTarget APRA Fund using ABN, please additionally provide a USI.
    Reason:
For a record in the contribution file, an ABN is provided, but the USI is not and multiple USI’s where found as part of the ABN lookup process.
    Resolution:
Provide a USI for the offending record, and  attempt the upload again.

Please check and enter the correct USI for this employee's super fund.  USI information should be available on the Letter of Compliance your employee provided you.  These can be searched on the internet as well.

    Hope this helps.

    regards,
    John

Thanks - but I have the USI for the fund. Have verified with the funds letter of compliance and have correctly recorded it on the employee's file. Also,  on the answer from Reckon, there is no place to enter the funds ABN on the employee record. Any other suggestions?

    Hi Terence,

The Super Fund ABN is entered on the Supplier record for the Super Fund - Additional Info tab > Tax Rego ID.

I'll follow up on other aspects tomorrow.

What's the rest of the message:
"Unable to uniquely identify Target APRA Fund using ABN. Record Details ..."

    Thanks Terence,

I've deleted your post for privacy considerations.

The employees mentioned, are they all your employees or just some?
What is different between these employees and those not referenced?
Do these employees have multiple super payroll items?
Are all the details of the Super payroll items completely filled in and correct on the Employee record?

    regards,
    John
