WAGE DATE PENDING

We have a date pending issue again just like what happened in December.  We ended our financial year wage run but it was processed 1.7.20.  This pay run is still pending.  The same thing happened in December and this pay run for 24.12.19 is still pending after all these months. Why does Reckon/ATO still have this issue

    No need to worry about it as long as your subsequent lodgements have been accepted.   

    Not sure why you have the issue but my recollection is that lodgements made during periods where the ATO system was in limbo whilst they were doing maintenance/systems upgrades would never be "processed".

    In addition to Bruce's comments - if you processed a pay to the employee on 01.07.20 - then this pay belongs in the new financial year - employees must receive the money in the financial year in which they have to declare it as income.  You might need to speak to someone to just check this has all been processed correctly?
