want to import qif bank statement but quickbooks 2014 doesn't show bank account

Using Reckon accounts premier - accountants edition 2014 . desktop installation. When importing qif bank statement get "Account to import into" - there is no account in the drop down box and the help doesn't work

    Hi Irene

    Welcome to Reckon Community.

    To use the Import Bank Statement feature in Reckon Accounts Business, you bank account must be enabled for online banking.

    Please refer to this Knowledgebase Article – 4074 in order to set up your Bank for Online Banking.

    Also I don't want to connect to the bank directly from Quickbooks. I want to import from from my downloaded qif file from the bank. Thank you

    Hi Irene, thanks for reaching out to us.

    Setting up the bank for Online Banking does not connect to your Bank directly this is only for importing the QIF or uploading the ABA file, also Credit Union Financial Services is available.
