We are unable to email payslips directly from Reckon Hosted. We are able to email invoices, purchase orders etc but nil Payslips.

Payslips that are being selected to email do not show up in the Select Forms to Send window.

We are still having this issue and cannot email payslips directly from Reckon Hosted. We are able to print all payslips. Email addresses have been checked and no changes have been made since the last successful export from Reckon (as previous issues logged on this site have had corrupted email addresses etc) so we cannot understand why this is occurring now.

Me too Kim. Nothing has changed (my end) since we emailed payslips last fortnight. It seems our Tax Invoices aren't emailing either. Please help us Reckon!!!

Hi Kim and Karen,

There are a few things to check regarding this issue

In the employee details.
Make sure that the employee has an email address
Make sure that in the Address and Contact, preferred send form method is Both.

In the paycheque for the employees.
That it is showing the correct bank account and date range.

In the select form to email > payslips.
That you select the right Bank account.
That you select the right Date range. You can try to widen the date range, for the whole month to see if there are other payslips to be emailed.

Thanks Deny, we checked the system again earlier and without changing anything and it is up and working again, payslips are emailing as normal. We will keep your suggestions handy in case this happens again.

Me too Andrea. Still not working for me. And I can't email Tax Invoices or Payment Summaries either. The list allows you to tick which ones I want to send in the "Select Pay Slips to Email" but then the next window "select Forms to Send" brings up nothing. The only thing you can press on this screen is Close or Help.

Hi Guys, my admin girl was on the phone and actually had fixed this for us. Sounds weird but you have to keep going through the motions of trying to email and once it gets to "Select forms to send" click close until you notice the additional payslips have shown up and are added. She had to sit there for over 40mins opening and closing the window. I would assume that this would also work for invoices as well.

I had the same issue! Apparently it is due to a corrupt email somewhere & I had to spend over an hour clicking File, Send Forms & then escaping until eventually emails were in the Send Forms Window.

This issue seems to be quite prominent. Wouldn't you think there would be a better way of fixing it?

I have just spent an hour or so doing this - File, send forms, selecting, click ok then when nothing comes up to send closing and doing it again.

It does work - but there must be a better way.  What a waste of time.

That's ridiculous.  I don't have time to waste clicking buttons in the hope it will work after an hour.  Time is money Reckon...and your product seems to be having a different issue every time I use it!!! I can't see why there is a problem with email addresses when nothing has changed from the last pay run when it worked fine.  Not happy!

I have been having this same issue since June, and I still can't get it to work, any updates Reckon???
BTW - tried to call your support desk but you wanted to charge $4 per minute ... this is your issue, not ours!!!

Hi Melinda,

Welcome to the Reckon community, and sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem.

The Send Forms to Send list cannot show a corrupted email and will not show good emails that follow a corrupted one.  If your list is blank and you know there should be emails waiting to be sent, then the first email is corrupt.

When you exit Select Forms to Send, Reckon Accounts will delete only the first corrupted email.  You will need to enter and exit Send Forms to Email a number of times until the last of the emails is displayed and all corrupted emails are deleted.

Hi John, thank you for your reply to my message. I have now changed all employees "print or email option to both" and I have deleted out all email addresses for all employees and tried them one by one, but still the "send forms" screen comes up blank after selecting the employee in the first screen. So it can't be a corrupt email as I have tried email addresses that I know worked previously.
Any other suggestions????

Hi Melinda,

Did you follow the suggestion to create a dummy employee and give them a pay?
You will need to close and reopen the Send Forms to email (payslips) until you see that dummy employee.  Then you will know you have cleared the list.  Depending how many emails got corrupted and how long this has been going on, it may be a long process.

Is this still the fix for this problem?  I can't send payslips or payment summaries , but last week payslips worked fine.
