    What are you using for the internet, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Edge?

    Check out that you have the correct browser extension added and correct version for Auskey to work.

    What I will share here is unrelated to Reckon,  but is related to logging on directly to the ATO Business Portal for lodging a BAS (just thru the browser, not from the Accounts program).

    Two months ago,  Chrome started to fail to use the AUSKEY I'd been using for probably more than 5-10 years....   It shows the failure issue on the screen shot I've prepared just now (1PM  13/10/2016).    Whereas,  the latest versions of FIREFOX handles the login quite well, prompting me for all the companies available to me via all my AUSKEYS.

    The following screen works fine,  but I have deliberately rolled up the list of permissible companies/AUSKEYS for privacy reason on this forum article.

    The version I am running, is Firefox v49.0.1  and using it on Debian Jessie,  Win7 Pro and Win10.

    The 'table-tennis-match'  is more between the browsers,  than between the Accounts program and a particular browser.   But true, as the ATO states,  there are combinations of browsers and operating systems that are compatible and not, as per the article of Adrian.  And over time,  the combinations have changed, and no doubt will still change as technology requirements for security and compatibility need to be taken care of at the user computer end.

    Thanks for the reply Gary

    Perhaps I need to clarify my issue.

    I currently have Reckon on my desktop computer and using this version I can lodge my BAS to the ATO through the portal. This is telling me that the browser (Firefox) is compatible and the AUSkey is working.

    2 weeks ago I started using the Reckon Hosted version as a trial. When I try to electronically lodge my BAS to the ATO using this version I get to the ATO portal, however my AUSkey is not displaying.

    Reckon are saying that the ATO needs to register the sofware and the ATO is saying "No" your AUSkey is working fine and it is a Reckon issue.

    2 x calls to Reckon and 2 x calls to the ATO and I am no closer to resolving this issue.

    Perhaps this article is relevant in your case, trying to use RAH (not desktop). Two different approaches.

    PS:  Where they suggest you remove the  old styled keystore.xml file,  I'd impress upon you to keep a copy somewhere safe and offline in case you need those AUSKEYS for other software (ie: desktop).

    Having said that,  there has been talk of how to use AUSKEYS in a 'cloud' environment given the security/privacy considerations for all parties,  compared to the privacy of your own LAN / inhouse SERVER equipment approaches.
