Why are my selected tax codes not appearing when I go to generate next BAS

Why are my selected tax codes not appearing when I go to generate next BAS (eg: G1 1A etc) I have to go put them all in again, This has happened before but it is annoying and I would like to know why or how this happens from time to time

    When you configure your BAS make sure that you select Oct 2019,in the new year it always selects the 2020 option

    Yes I did  that tax codes still did not appear I had to go in and reselect

    Have you just upgraded?  or installed on a different computer - the settings are saved for that version on that machine - change machines or upgrading the software means you have to reset the labels.  

    PS  - I believe if you log onto your computer as a different user - this would also mean resetting the labels?

    no same computer same user it's Reckon Hosted so it's online not sure if that makes a difference but it used to do it on old Reckon accounts maybe it does have something to do with change of year ?just very annoying

    If you have multiple Hosted user logins - then each of them would need the labels setup?  certainly with each annual upgrade I believe you have to redo the labels? 

    To be honest, since Simplified lodgements started and we need far less labels than before - I tend these days to just print the Tax Summary Report & Payroll Summary Report and enter direct into the ATO portal.  (unless needing WET labels etc)

    Yep I haven’t used the BAS report since it stopped linking to the tax portal directly, I do the same as you

    It's only me that uses  Reckon oh and accountant and yes you can't lodge automatically anymore but I still like to do the BAS part as well as reports just for double checking and it's a bit easier to read off the figures when you are putting it into the ATO business portal....but you can't get to used to anything these days they change things every 5 mins hahaha
