Why has my emailing payslips stopped working?

What's happening when you try?
Are you getting any error messages?
What's your email client?
What operating system are you running?
Have there been any updates or changes to your operating environment since the last time you were able to successfully emai ie. Windows updates, antivirus updates etc

It says and internal error occurred while preparing your message.  It has not been sent.

(MAPI error code 00000000 (0) at line 921 in sendemail.cpp)

It was working fine, we use outlook 2007 for our emails (this is unchanged).

The only thing that has changed recently is that we went to the NBN.

Hello Michele,

Here are a few steps you could try:

1. Go to the Online Preferences window and look at the Display each email when sending more than one.  If the option is ticked, untick it.  if it is unticked, tick it.  Now try again.

2. Close Reckon Accounts and open the QBW.ini file located at C:\ProgramData\Intuit\Reckon Accounts 2015 with Notepad and add these 2 lines at the bottom:


Now try again.

3. Try running Reckon Accounts in Administrator mode - right-click your Reckon Accounts icon > Properties > Compatibility and tick the box Run this program as an Administrator.
