I couldn't open my Reckon Accounts plus 2014 after Windows 10 being installed. I hope I can resolve it soon

You will need to update to the 2015 version.  It isn't guaranteed that 2015 will work with Windows 10 as it wasn't tested in the full working environment but I suggest you give it a go! Good Luck!

We have users using Accounts products on Win10. It's necessary though, to run program as Admin and in some cases in 'compatibility mode'.

    Hi All,

Further to this, Michael, if you would like to try rein?stalling the program first as the update may have removed some components used by the program.

If issue persist, I concur with what Mirko have said. We had a client who had a printing issue after updating to Windows 10 using RAB 2015.

This was resolved by running the program as Admin as well as in Compatibility Mode: selecting Windows XP (Service Pack 3). ?Perhaps it may also work for the 2014 version.

    Hope it helps!

    Kind Regards,

    Jamaiel

I've also found that Reckon Accounts has changed after installing Windows 10.  On the invoices it now prints XDR before any Total Amounts?? Also when I open Reckon another window opens with the words Crash and COM Error which closes down Reckon if I click OK??  Any help would be appreciated.

I can no longer email from Accounts 2015 with windows 10.. when I press email it keeps telling me there is a printing issue (it prints when you click the print button). I've tried running it in Admin and in compatibility mode for window 7 and 8. I have noticed it's running a 32 bit version and my computer is 64 bit so maybe this has something to do with it.
Any help is much appreciated as I'm having to print and then scan to email, save the pdf and then email it out.
    Thanks :-)

Found the solution to my problem!!!. Now my Reckon 2014 runs well with Windows 10.
I first tried to uninstall and re-install the software, which was probably not necessary. I couldn't even re-install Reckon on my computer at all.
After I rang the support line and followed the instruction below, not only i could re-install Reckon plus 2014, but also runs well (i haven't tested every single feature yet).

As it said, by default, Windows 10 does not have Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1 activated, an important service for installation.
    http://kb.reckon.com.au/quickfaq.asp#6.

    Activate Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5.1

    1.    Control Panel > Programs and Features

    2.    Turn Windows features on or off

    3.    Scroll down the list to Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 and tick the box.

    4.    Click OK to save and exit.

    Thanks everyone who replied!
