Wrong ABN

I have recorded the wrong ABN against my Reckon profile and have advised the ATO and they have made the changes. I have also previously recorded employee records against it, so dont want to delete everything. I just want to update the company information to the correct abn. I have made a number of requests to Reckon but no response, not sure what else I can do.... Please help... thanks

Hi there,
Can you let me know how you've made the previous requests to us? I'll try to find them and follow up.

I have also previously recorded employee records against it, so dont want to delete everything. I just want to update the company information to the correct abn.
If you have registered an incorrect ABN which it sounds like then we need to take measure to remove it from your account and this does mean that its deleted.
If its the incorrect ABN, is there any particular reason you wish to retain the data you've sent for it?

I have sent emails to Reckon to ask about how to change it... Also the reason why i dont want to delete the data is that there are employee payments lodged with the ATO against the previous ABN, so if I delete then it interferes with the ATO records.

To be clear the data that I dont want deleted is the employee records and lodgement...

If you wish to retain this data then the account and subsequently ABN registered to it, needs to remain as it is without any changes.

If you have a different ABN that you also need to submit for, then you can register this into the app as well however it must be in a separate account under a different email address.

So if it was deleted, how does that affect what the ATO have on their records ie payments I have already lodged with them? do I have to go back to the beginning of July and resubmit these payment records to the ATO or will this be duplicated?

The ABN record is removed from our database so any and all submissions become null and void.

When you register the correct ABN into the app, you will enter the YTD as it stands now and then submit your first lodgement from the next new payrun.

Hi since this was deleted, I have not been able to even load the Reckon app again, it just goes around and around. I have uninstalled it and reninstalled it a number of times and cannot get access. I have even registered as new and still nothing. Is there a problem with the app or is it because it got deleted?? thanks

I have deleted this and reloaded the app and signed up with a new email etc and the app just doesnt want to work, its really annoying. I havent been able to log any thing for two months

is Reckon not working at all?? as I have reloaded this and it still just goes around in circles and doesnt load at all..... This has been a really bad app!!! Can someone help please!!!

Hi there,
Which version of the app are you using? Android or iOS?
If its Android, can you please do the following;
- Close the app in full ie. swipe it away from your running apps
- Head into your phone settings; Settings > Apps > Reckon STP > Storage > Clear Data
(Please note this path may vary depending on your phone model & version of Android).
- Open the app and login.
