WRONG ABN ON STP APP

I have realised the ABN for my STP is incorrect on my mobile app and that is why my payroll runs are not going through to the ATO. How can I change it? Have spoken to the ATO which has all the correct information but my mobile app does not. I have telephoned Reckon too and unfortunately they cannot assist and I have to ask through the community.  Please can someone reply to this problem.

Hi Debra,
Ok, so just checking; you've registered the incorrect ABN to the app AND also sent submissions?
What was the error message you received on those submissions? Can you shoot me a screenshot of the error message.

Did you register the Software ID for this incorrect ABN with the ATO prior to sending submissions?

What is the ABN you've registered on the app?
Also, can you confirm if the email address you used for the app is the same email address registered to this Community account.

Hi Debra,
This should now be sorted. Logout of the app then close it in full ie. swipe it away from your running apps.
Give it a couple of minutes and then open it up again & log back in. The app will take you through setting up the ABN again.

Hi Rav,

I did what you suggested and when I log back in, it takes me through the setting up as you mentioned but once I enter my ABN, it is saying 'MIRBOND PTY LTD is already registered' and to login in again. I do this and everything just gets repeated. 

Is there something else I can do ?

Hi Rav,

I have tried it again today. When I click on the Reckon app on my phone it asks for Company Name or ABN. I put this in, find my Company, hit continue and as mentioned yesterday it says Mirbond Pty Ltd is already registered.

It says to Login again, which I do and it goes back to the beginning asking for Company Name or ABN. I can go no further with the app.  Very frustrating, I must say.

I was so optimistic when I got your email saying it should be all sorted. Do you know what I can do ?  Thank you. Regards Debra.

Hi Rav,

Great, it is working :) I followed the steps and have also entered our pay run up to ytd, as it says and it all went perfectly.

It now is ready for me to do my next pay run, when I do it next week. Shall check in a few days with the ATO side of things, to see if it has gone through.

Hi Rav, 

Yes that is correct, I registered the incorrect ABN to the app and also sent submissions. (ATO have told me that they have received nothing). 

I did register the Software ID with the ATO prior to sending submissions (ATO have told me that on their file it is the correct ABN for our Company not the one on the app) - see below

The ABN on the app is 87 010 951 318 - company with similar name to ours MARBOND PTY LTD

The email I use for the community reckon is different.  It is rdsadsl@tpg.com.au

With regards to the pay run's I have submitted - the just all say Error and declined by the ATO.  There was one pending and it then became an error and had this message - 

'You have not nominated this software provider to secure transmissions on line (cloud based) software - log on to Access Manager (auskey required) and select 'my nominated software provider' and follow the instructions to nominate or ring ATO'

I am so hoping it is just because of my error with the ABN on the app, was put in incorrectly.
