XPA v10.2.1 not working since Win10 update

Several weeks ago, after a major Windows 10 update, XPA stopped working. Central can still be opened (though there are a a multitude of error messages), but when I try and open XPA I get a Run-time error '430' Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have searched for solutions and cannot fix it. Initially, I planned to do a system restore, but the option wasn't available even though I have restore points activated.
Has anyone else had this issue and provide me with some assistance? The Win7 machines are fine, but I can't keep switching pcs to get my work done.
