Your system might not have enough memory to use Excel

Hello everybody,

Two of our customers who use Reckon (same current premiere version) have the same problem when they try to export to excel. The error says " Your system might not have enough memory to use Excel ". The computer has plenty of memory (This is i5 8GB RAM machine where at least 50% is free). Any ideas where to look? In both cases, this is a network environment (so no "local" file, but shared from the network drive). In both cases, Reckon is up to date and in a current version.

Thanks for any suggestion.

This worked for me! What a pain in the rump!!  It only took me days to find this way to fix my issue.  I'm using windows10, new computer and apparently my microsoft office software defaults my windows compatibility to WindowsXP.  Doesn't make any sense.

So in order to make Excel compatible with my version of Windows, the below link shows how to uncheck the compatibility of Excel, which will give Excel compatibility with any windows version.  Good Grief!  I hope this works for you!
