Cant create an account through the mobile app

I have downloaded the app. I have tried to create an account and it says it alreay exists? I click 'forgot password' which takes me to the website and i enter my details there to get an email to reset my password. I do that although when going back to the app it still doesnt work?

    Hi Suzi,
    Have you ever previously registered for a Reckon Portal account at https://portal.reckon.com to use the GovConnect service for STP purposes?

    If not, can you confirm if the email address you're using to register on the app is the same email address you've used for this Reckon Community account? If it is, I'll use it to do some checks.
