STP report payroll as day rate & not ordinary hourly rate

Is there a way to enter in STP payroll report as day rate instead of hourly? The figures aren't matching up exactly when I try to convert our days & day rate of pay into hourly/ordinary hours. I have only tried one which was out by 1 cent but I thought I would see if you can change the rate of pay etc. first. Thanks.

    How about: is there a way to add a 'Salary' earning item in the payroll app? so far I haven't figured it out yet & haven't had a response to my previous question...


    UPDATE: I have so far figured out that I can amend the "Bonus" pay item name to be "Gross pay / Salary" and am using that in my pay runs so I can process a pay run with Gross amount, tax amount & super guarantee for my Salary/day rate pays. Hopefully doesn't stuff up my STP submissions to the ATO....

    (Made sure to tick "include in super guarantee calculation" as well so shows up with everything I need to enter a Salary pay in the payroll app.)

    {in app> go to 'settings' >'manage earning & leave items' > under 'Other earning items': Bonus> click the arrow & change item name and tick 'include in super guarantee' click 'save.}

    Update: not sure if my post os public. Not getting any responses. Anyway, after a little more research what I wrote above is INCORRECT. If the ‘bonus’ payroll item doesn’t have PAYG ticked then it wont be reported to the ATO when submitting a STP payrun….
