ATO Error message

I have received the following error message from the ATO when attempting to lodge STP for the last two weeks.

• The value specified for an item does not match the item type (value = "", item type = String, uniqueID = http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/payevnt:ElectronicMailAddressT) Hint: The actual length is less than the MinLength value.

I have not had a problem all year and now in the final pays of the year I am unable to lodge by reports . I have checked email addresses for all employees and they are all valid. I have checked payroll entries for the last two weeks and am now at a loss as to what I should be checking. Hoping someone can help me asap.

All fixed. Read an earlier post with a similar issue, followed instructions on putting an email address on the Company File and voila! Successful lodgement. Wow so stressful for a while though
