Setting Sick Leave

Hi I'm not quite understanding how to correctly set sick leave for part time employees. I've set preferences in Reckon to Decimal. I'm not quite understanding how to pro-rata pay from a 38 hour week to a 30 hour week to obtain hours accrued per pay. If we have agreed to provide (8) days sick leave to the employee is it a matter of multiplying 8 days x 24 hours and dividing by 52 weeks which gives the number below? How do we then check that this will accrue the 8 days and that it's correct. Where do i find a set of calculations or converter that can do this for me. thank you
