Payroll Premier 2023/24 Desktop is now available

Hi everyone!

As we recently communicated, Payroll Premier desktop is undergoing an exciting transformation, as we introduce a new and enhanced payroll experience that incorporates STP Phase 2 functionality starting from August 2023.

Rest assured, Reckon's STP Phase 2 deferral until 30 September 2023 will safeguard your business throughout the new financial year until the new Payroll Premier upgrade is made available.

In the meantime, we are pleased to announce the release of Payroll Premier 2023/24, which comes with essential updates to ensure your business remains compliant.

ℹ IMPORTANT - An upgrade for Payroll Premier is coming soon!

Payroll Premier desktop is being replaced with a new and enhanced payroll experience that includes STP Phase 2 functionality from August 2023.

Reckon's STP Phase 2 deferral until 30 September 2023 will cover your business into the new financial year until the new Payroll Premier upgrade is available.

The current Payroll Premier 2023/24 release includes:

⭐ Superannuation guarantee default rate increase

Update to default superannuation guaranteed rate from 10.5% to 11.0% as of the 1st July 2023 as required by the ATO.

⭐ STSL PAYG tax tables

Updated tax tables for student-based payments. HELP and SFSS based payments use the same PAYG tax tables now due to the change to Study Training Support Loan (STSL) based tax tables.

⚠ We recommend that you complete your 2022/23 EOFY finalisations in your current version and read the Installation & Upgrade Guide HERE prior to installing the 2023/24 release.
