Annual Leaves, Bonus, Commissions paid not updated to YTD Total Gross Pay

Hi Rav,
YTD Total Gross Pay is showing incorrect total (missing value from Annual Leave/Personal Leave, Bonus & Commission)
Any hints why Annual Leave, Personal Leave, Bonus & Commissions paid did not add up to the Total Gross Pay ?
in setting : Annual Leave, Personal Leave, Bonus & Commissions define as Gross Payment - salaries & Wages.
Thanks
Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth
Where are you looking at these Year to Date balances in Reckon Payroll? In the YTD Summary in an employee profile?
The reason I ask is, the YTD Summary in an employee profile currently does not items that have been disaggregated under STP Phase 2. Check out more info on this HERE. Does this apply in this specific instance for you?
Also, if you take a look at the Payroll Detail, does that confirm the pay items that have been added/used in the pay run for the employee(s)?

Hi Rav,
Yes, Total Gross Pay in the YTD Summary in employee profile.
Shouldn't this YTD Gross Pay per employee be updated automatically. Do I have to update this section manually ?
All Pay items are showing correctly as per individual Pay slip as per below.
YTD Gross pay in employee profile should be showing $ 49,953.51. Commissions amount total $ 7,943.70 (highlighted in green) did not add up to Total Gross Pay.
Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Rav,
Sorry please also assist with below issue.
We migrated from Payroll Premier.
July & Aug 23 payroll data were migrated to Reckon accordingly and YTD Gross pay - show correctly in every employee profile.
However when printing payroll summary report period July to Sep 23, the report is only showing data from Sept 23 payroll (not included July & Aug data from Payroll Premier).
Thanks for your help.
Kind regards
Elizabeth

Yes the YTD Summary in an employee profile will update automatically as you complete pay runs (mark them as paid). You don't need to do anything manual to this and I'd probably advise against doing so as well.
If there is a variance in what you're seeing in the YTD Summary that isn't covered by the info I linked above regarding disaggregated items, then I'd recommend having a chat with our support team so we can take a closer look there.
In regard to reporting, there's a broader range of reports available in the companion Reckon One book you have access to as part of your upgrade to Reckon Payroll. I'll link a bit of info on this below -
Payroll Premier upgrade - How to access your companion Reckon One book from Reckon Payroll 🔁
If you switch over to the companion book and select the Reports Centre on the left, it'll give you access to quite a few reports that can provide some additional insights.
ℹ️ Please note though, the reports you generate in either Reckon Payroll or the companion Reckon One book, will only display data from the payruns created in Reckon Payroll itself. For any reporting on payruns created in Payroll Premier, generate those reports in the Payroll Premier software.
