Point of sale error - this function cannot issue change in the form of cash

when a customer phones in to pay a layby payment using eftpos , transaction goes thru eftpos terminal as approved, but point of sale error message this function can not issue change in the form of cash and cancels payment in point of sale but eftpos transaction has gone thru bank acc

Welcome to the Reckon Community.

Is the amount of the layby payment greater than the outstanding balance on the layby?

Check that the Layby Payment and EFTPOS buttons on the TouchKeyboard have the correct Function assigned - "Layby Account Payment" and "Tender EFT" respectively.

the amount entered is the same as the amount owing. this function worked on my previous version of point of sale. all other forms of eftpos payments work
