Help with Setting Up Cocktails and Mixer Combinations in Reckon Accounts and POS

Hi Reckon Support,

I hope you're well.

1. We are currently using Reckon Accounts Desktop along with Reckon POS for our small business, which is a restaurant that mainly sells drinks such as water, beer, cocktails, etc.
2. For single drinks like water or beer, I’ve been entering them through Item List > New > Inventory Part in Reckon Accounts.
3. For more complex drinks like cocktails (e.g. rum & coke), I’d like to combine spirits with their respective mixers.
   My question is:
   Should I use the “Inventory Assembly” item type to create these combinations?
   For example, can I create a new item under “Inventory Assembly” and then use the “Bill of Materials” section to assign the relevant mixer(s) for that specific spirit?
4. If the above approach is correct, am I then able to transfer those assembled cocktail items from the Admin system into the POS Terminal for use in daily operations?
5. Once the items are available in POS Terminal, how do I set them up to display properly on the touchscreen interface?
   Specifically:

• I would like each cocktail or mixed drink to appear as a button on the touchscreen.
• I understand this may be done via the “Options” > “Keyboard Touch Screen” menu in POS Terminal, but I’d appreciate guidance on the exact steps to assign these items and organize them so they are easy to access when customers place drink orders.

Any help or step-by-step guidance would be greatly appreciated to ensure we can manage and sell cocktails effectively using Reckon Accounts and POS.
