I get Run-time error 339 Component "POSTouchButton .ocx or one of it's dependencies not correctly re

My 2006/7 POS wont load. I get Run-time error 339 Component "POSTouchButton.ocx or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" The POS will not open when I hit the OK button. Please help if you can

Yes, my cd drives in my computer won't open so I can't reinstall. All I can find at officeworks is a external multi format dvd recorder. Do you think this will work?

I now have a pop up window saying "1607 Unable to installInstalShield Scripting Runtime when trying to reinstall

I think my main problem is that I'm running XP so it may be an upgrade is in order.

I have the disc will I loose all the till set up if I reinstall?
