POS posting problem - transactions for 6 April posted twice

Dear Community,

We use Reckon Accounts Plus paired with Reckon POS professional - both 2015 versions.

On 6 April the POS terminal crashed and was rebooted.  I was not there, but the result is that the posting for 6 April has been done twice in Reckon Accounts Plus.

We had  a similar but different problem a few months ago:

Is there a fix for this like last time by restoring the company file back to our 5 April back up and then restoring the QBPOS files from the recycle bin for 6, 7 April as well  as any days transactions until we do this fix, and then re-posting each day's files?
