Is there a GST report that shows the gross amount, tax (GST) amount and net amounts for transactions? Trying to reconcile what a client has reported on their BAS Returns with what their bookkeeper has entered into their QuickBooks file.

Thank you for your query.


There are couple of reports  we can suggest:


1. Tax Detail Reports.

 Reports>Tax>Tax detail report

This would be good one but  it will not give you the Gross amount, will only include tax amount and the net amount



2. Custom Transaction Detail Report

 Reports>Custom transactions detail report

You can customise this report to get the results accordingly.

MODIFY>DISPLAY>please tick tax code, tax amount and amount.

As this report gives you the breakdown of the actual transactions, shows all the gross, net and the tax figures but not in a separate column.
