How can I apply both a 'fixed rate' and 'per item' Price Level for a customer?

I'm trying to set up price levels for certain parts and subitems. Say we sell specially trained bees and wasps and have subitems set up for both (subitem: 'bees' & subitem: 'wasps')... For bees we want pricing to be discount based (which is already set up). For wasps, we want to set up custom price levels for different customers. I'm worried that I cannot apply to a customer, both a 'fixed rate' discount pricing for bees AND a 'per item' based custom pricing for wasps.

I guess my question is, can I apply both a fixed rate discount and per item discount to the same customer?

 i.e. If Customer X orders on line 1: Honey bees, Reckon will automatically apply discount based pricing from 'bees' subitem. Then on line 2, they order: Kyle Sandilands Seeking Killer Wasps, Reckon will automatically apply custom per item pricing from 'wasps' subitem... Can this be done?

It is not possible to assign 2 price levels to a specific customer, however you can set up price level and assign that to the customer, then create another price level based on per item. When you raise an invoice and you select the customer that has the price level assigned to it, when you select an item the price level on the customer will be automatically be applied, however in doing that you have to manually change the price level on each item on the invoice via the rate/price column drop down menu if you want to apply another price level of a particular item.

below is a scenario using the examples that you have provided:

1. create a price level per item for the bees sub item assign this to your customer.

2. create a price level per item for the wasp sub item.

3. create an invoice selecting the customer with the price level assigned to it

4. select the bee item you will notice the price will change from the standard price

5. now select the wasp item, you will notice the wasp item will be it's original price, if you drop the menu down under price/rate column and select the price level you created per item for wasp item you will notice the price level will be applied.

you can also use a fixed% price level and assign that to your customer however the fixed price level will be applied to all items on the list unless you select another price level for that item on each line item.
