Hi Gary,
Welcome to the Reckon Community and thank you for your question.
You may experience this issue if you have not used the tax code on each transactions what you have entered as the BAS report look for the tax code used on every transactions irrespective of the category.
You must use split on each transactions with the correct tax code in order for it to show in your BAS report.
We hope the above helps you resolving your issue.
Cheers Mustafa
these standard codes do not appear. I have never changed these before so I don't know how that occurred. Can I just create new codes matching , but I get an error message saying they will not show up in bas reports
I have seen KB 4930, and it seems to be addressing a similar issue. I cant seem to be able to export the IIF files or rebuild company file
Hi Gary, The reason why the standard codes does not appear is that when upgrading to CashBook 2004 from an older version you had an option stating " CashBook now supports 3 character Tax Codes. Do you want CashBook to replace your existing Tax Codes with 3 character equivalents" If you selected NO there then you cannot get back the standard codes for your BAS. But still you can view and print the other tax reports and fill up your BAS manually. Also for the future you may consider starting over a new file for new financial year which have 3 Tax Codes. Thanks Mustafa
I do not use cashbook 2004, rather I use Home and Business 2013
